Animals such as deers have to be very careful when they are drinking from the edge of rivers where crocodiles live. Based on the picture above, explain the adaptation that makes it difficult for its prey to notice the crocodile.

Answer:

The crocodile is the same colour as the water. Therefore, it is camouflaged in the water and the prey is not able to see it.

A habitat gives a species what it needs to survive. For example, a forest gives a bird shelter from bad weather. State two things that a habitat provides to a species for it to survive.

Habitats provide food such as plants or animals that other animals need to eat; provide water for plants and animals; provide sunlight and space for plants to grow and provide shelter.
